Overall we as a group think we have pulled through quite well for this project. After about half way into the term we started falling further and further behind with the work that had to be done, but due to the research and tutorials we put ourselves through in the first half of the term, we managed to do everything we wanted by our work deadline, AND to a reasonable standard.
Visually the advert looked very nice and stylized with the toon shaders and cleanly modelled geometries. The dynamics and tree growth animation were done to a good level and worked really well, but the actual animating of the character was rushed in order to get the advert ready for Rave On Air.
To conclude, although we have minor problems in the final outcome like the actual animating, and possibly a few tweaks here and there with the appearance, we were overall quite happy with the finished compiled piece, and have generally had good responses so far by viewers. We are also pleased with how much we have each learned through all the tutorials we have had to go through to leaning new skills and techniques, AND also from what we have learned from each other.
Ideas and Storyboard
We have come up with a few ideas and storyboards, but after our pitch to the product design students we have decided to kind of merge the two main ideas that were pitched. The final idea for our advert will be the growing trees storyboard (up on Mehmet's blog) with the pan around the actual products at the end (storyboard up on Prince's blog). The tagline 'Making Life In The City Jungle Easier' will read at the end of the advert, followed bly the Puma logo.

The Products
We have managed to get into contact with the students who have designed the Puma products we will be advertising. Below are the images we have recieved from them..........

Intro
For this terms project, we are teamed up in groups of two and will be promoting the products the product design students are working on with an animated (to some level at least) TV advert.
Now that we have been teamed up and know what our brand is, we need to track down the design students we will be working to create an advert for and find out what we will be advertising (the product/s).
